Visualisation/Animation
With terrestrial laser scanning it is possible to capture the entire environment (buildings, rows of houses, market places, residential areas, landscapes, inner cities etc.) in three dimensions.
The point clouds can be processed into 3 D models.
Three-dimensional models can be embedded into the measurement result with or without texture. The respective planning object can hence be virtually entered already during the planning phase. As a result the principal is provided with a basis for decision-making for the different designs. It is possible to view the design from different points of view of the environment. Especially in city planning as well as in planning of rehabilitation and rebuilding projects it is essential for the principal to have a detailed basis for judgement. By use of modern animation software it is possible to animate the course of the sun and shadow casts as well as lighting situations inside and outside of objects.
