Markt Wendelstein is the owner of the restaurant as well as the attached adjacent buildings estate Flaschner, Hauptstraße 12 in Wendelstein.

A basic rehabilitation and a conversion of the building are envisaged. Different possibilities of use as event centre, theatre, restaurant as well as a combination of these are intended. For a first capturing of the whole estate a complete laser scan of the exterior and the interior was conducted and a true-to-deformation survey in views, site plans and longitudinal sections was developed.

The Neischl Grotto at the botanical garden in Erlangen was built in 1906. With the building of the Neischl Grotto one intended to combine the experience of a dripstone cave of the Franconian Switzerland in a botanical garden.

The construction is a mixture of a surface structure made of ferroconcrete in connection with casings made of wood and gypsum along with a natural stone walling and an earth covering. To capture the whole carrying structure of the Neischl Grotto a 3D laser scan of the interior and exterior was conducted and in coordination with the architect Professor Kress and the commissioned structural engineer Mr Mathias Michel a reduced point cloud was created as basis for the finite element calculation.

The ZBI Corporation purchased the former Hennig-Werke, a handbag and gloves factory, as their new company headquarters.

As a basis for planning for the commissioned architectural office KJS+Architekten, Erlangen, a true-to-deformation survey of the whole building was generated.

The entire façades as well as all interior rooms were captured by use of a laser scanner and were processed into a true-to-deformation survey in views, sections and floor plans.

In close vicinity to Leipzig main station the former parking garage „Goldene Laute“ is situated.

This building was erected in 1928 replacing a former inn for waggoners and represented back then the technological state-of-the art.

The vehicles were distributed on the different parking levels by automatic car lifts and on the topmost floor there was a car repair shop. Adjacent there were rooms for events and for the drivers.

The building was used until the 1940s as garage and served various purposes thereafter in GDR-times.

Through a new use of the apartment house a permanent preservation of the status is to be achieved.

As a basis for the planning a true-to-deformation survey using 3D laser scanning was conducted. This was processed into true-to-deformation 2D plans in the form of views, ground plans and sections.

In the community of Unterschwaningen, in the southern part of the administrative district of Ansbach, the farm buildings of the castle Unterschwaningen are situated. They are in part property of the community of Unterschwaningen, in part private property.

For the entire complex a new utilisation concept is to be created, therefore a geometrically accurate recording by use of a true-to-deformation survey with 3D laser scanners was conducted. All the façades of the castle as well as all interior rooms were scanned and processed into true-to-deformation ground floors, views and sectional drawings, which served as a basis for planning for the subsequent specialist planners in the field of historic preservation. Furthermore, the results of the 3D laser scan were made available for all planners involved as Truview-Mode.

The city of Wunsiedel commissioned our office to conduct a 3D laser scan of the festival theatre Luisenburg using the results to create ground plans for the realisation of an architectural competition.

The whole theatre complex including the state area, the façades as well as the surrounding geologically difficult areas and the existing trees were captured with a 3D laser scan and processed into true-to-deformation ground plans, sectional plans and elevation plans.
